Participant Information
Barrier Islands Workshop
From a biblical worldview, explore the science and history of Cumberland, Jekyll, and Sapelo Islands located along the Georgia coast. During the 5 day/4 night workshop, participants will explore various habitats of the barrier islands and discover the unique history of each island, including the last Saltwater Geechee community, Hog Hammock. Participants will observe the power of our Creator while studying sea turtles and many other animals and plants. Psalm 19:1 states, “the heavens declare the glory of God.” The barrier islands are no exception.
